|
|
This guide is going to explain how to send a single swap for those who aren't sure. If you have any questions about this, feel free to post below or PM me and I will be happy to help out
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Firstly, write the swapitshop address on the front along with your member number and transaction number like shown in the image below:-
Your member number can be found on the homepage of your swapitshop account. Remember to sign in first though. The image below shows you exactly were you can find it.
Your transaction number can then be found by signing going onto the "swap sessions" page and then clicking the "completed" tab as shown in the image below.
Now remember you will need two lots of stamps. One lot so you can send it to swapitshop and another lot so they can forward it on to the swapper. Ok, now put your first lot of stamps on the envelope as shown in the first image. You can put your forwarding stamps inside the envelope or on the back in the exact same place - top right hand corner. If you are not sure how many stamps you need, use the table below to help you. You can of course just go to the post office and they will do this for you.
And finally, seel your envelope up (use celetape aswell if you put the forwarding stamps inside) and put it in the post box.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tips/Hints on Sending in a Swap
- Get your parcel weighed out and ready before hand so when it ends all you have to do is add the transaction number. Get your swap their within days and gain a +2 rating plus 15 bonus swapits.
- Make sure it is well wrapped and protected. If it gets damaged in the post then swapitshop will assume you sent it like that and you will not get the swapits and will get a -4 rating.
- Make sure you add the right ammount of stamps/forwarding stamps if your not getting it weighed at the post office. If their aren't enough stamps on the parcel then it won't reach swapitshop. If their aren't enough forwarding stamps then swapitshop will tell you to send more.
- Write the address and your member/transaction number as neatly as you can because if they can't read it they simply won't proccess it. What I do is just type the address, member number and transaction number on the PC using Microsoft Word, print out and and just stick it all on with celetape. If you do decide to do this, don't use a really fancy font that's hard to read. I suggest Times New Roman.
- If a swap hasn't been receieved within 7 days then ask your local Post Office if there has been any postage problems and then email them at info@swapitshop.com
Do all that and you will soon be a well-known, trusted Gold Star Swapper.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope this has been helpful. As stated above I will be happy to answer any questions. I will be making another thread on how to send multiple swaps in soon so be sure to check back. Any Karma would be appreciated. Thanks & Happy Swapping

| No, you need to put the right ammount of stamps. Weigh it and then use the guide above to figure out how many you need. I think one stamp should be enough though. |

| Remember that's just one way though. You need to include forwarding stamps so swapitshop can forward your swap on to the winning bidder. |
